Following up is one of the most underserved parts of the sales process in the real estate industry, and given the longer buying cycles of 55+ customers, it can be even more impactful for them. Active Adult buyers are more focused on experiences and working with someone who demonstrates their best interest in mind. Because of this, I challenge the people I work with to take follow up one step further and focus on "follow through."
Just following up works to maintain interest, clarify information, and help progress the sale. These are all good things, but when you take it one step further and adopt a mindset of "following through," you build trust, ensure satisfaction, and create loyalty because following through is about making commitments and promises for "what's next?" for the customer, then continuously delivering.
The latter leads to a deeper relationship and a more personalized and valuable experience for the customer.
